    * 3 tablespoons milk
    * 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs

I'm Getting X'd

I finally decided that the mediocur workouts arent good enough. I've gotten better about doing my workout at least twice a week most weeks I do three. But I'm just not seeing the results I really want. So, I decided to "Get X'd" as in p90x. If you havent heard of it, it's an extreme workout that you do 6 days a week for 90 days. Each day is a different muscle group, or type of training. I'm on day 3 today. There's nothing like getting motivation from people you are close to, so I'm working out with Matt and David every evening right after work. I'm grateful to both of them for agreeing to make more of a schedule out of their workouts to be able to include me instead of them doing the workout whenever, usually late at night like they were doing. Thanks guys! I'm loving this workout so far. I'm so very sore. It actually makes my job at work harder, well, cause I lift and bend and such to pack boxes for sending, and I pack stuff to the back for the receiving end of things. But I'm loving it. I'm already getting somewhere. My energy is up, my mood is better, and I'm watching every calorie, and ever gram of protein. It's great. =)

Just 88 workouts to go. =D
(I'm gonna keep photos, and I'll post those at the end. (before, in the middle and at the end.)

Stopped in

So why does everything always have to happen at the same time as everything else? My mother asked me to do a conference thing with her that's here on April 18th. Yeah, you all know what else happens the 18th. I want to do both, but I'm not sure I can make it to both. I have to do the conference because my mother had to pay for a ticket for me to go. And I think I told her I'd go before I knew what day the boil was. So there is no getting out of the conference to hang out with friends if I cant do both. :( If there is any way possible at all to do both, I am doing both. And I think there is. I really do. The conference thing doesnt start on Saturday till 6 I think. But I have to check.

On another note: It's nice to see that some people still update their journal. I miss stopping in to see what people had to say for the day. Since Em is in Texas,Erin is still in Ruston, and Jess is in Texarkana, I dont know what anyone is up to anymore. I want to spend more time doing online scrapbooking and "socializing", but I got into World of Warcraft and now I never seem to have any time to do things at home.

It's also hard to stop because I feel like I've put so much "work" into it now that I've built a pretty good account, and I dont wanna just quit. Plus it's a large part of what my friends talk about, so I'll be the one on the outside if I stop playing. But I used to be the one on the outside, so I should be used to that...right?

I'm going to start my jewelry making again, and I'm considering trying my hand at painting miniatures. S has a kit of unpainted fighters that he used to "play" with. I'm going to try my hand at basic painting them, and try to learn a few techniques that make them more valuable. If I can sell them, I may try to get commissions from players to paint their armies. Not sure how much this pays, but S thinks it will be very profitable if I can find the time to paint them. C's house has a room off to the side where I can set up shop to do these crafts. We will see if I cant start selling over the internet again. I am fairly certain I can sell the jewelry, but the miniatures might be more worth the efforts...

I keep accidentally coming to the new entry page, so I suppose I will write something. It's been a long time. I'm not sure I can get back into journal writing. For a while there, it seemed like no one was reading them anyway, but I need to remember I dont write these for other people. :p

My birthday is Friday. Plans are already being made about what to do, and that's cool. I cant remember a time past my 14th birthday when there were plans made really. There have been years where I woke up on my birthday and hoped that something good would happen before the end of the day. A few times, nothing did. Sad, huh? Well, this year I know I get to go to a movie with Allison the day after. (She's a girl I work with.) We have plans to see "He's Just Not That Into You" for the first showing on Saturday. The boys probably wont want to come along, but I hope we can go for dinner after. Or maybe dinner on my birthday the night before. *Shrug* It'll all work out one way or the other. ^_^

Life is kinda boring right now. Chris got a drum set last night. That's interesting, until he starts to use it. I have to clean out the "activity room" so he can put it in there. Hopefully that will help with the sound a bit.

Guess that's it for now.

No turning back

I ... I dont know where to start or what to say.

I'm depressed, and it's my fault. I cant just live life for what it is. I cant just take it one day at a time and be happy with things being the way they are. I always want something different. I might be completely destroying every chance at happiness that I will/ever have. I know I'm seriously hurting one of the people I love the most. My mood swings are almost more then I can deal with, how can I ask someone else to deal with them. But if I dont say something, I'll die. It will eat me until I cant breath. I cant breath anyway. I cry too hard.

I dont know what is wrong with me. I dont know what to do, what not to do. Where to go, where to stay. I dont know anything.

I hate Wednesdays

Everyone usually hates mondays right, well, I choose to hate Wednesdays. Yep. Why? Because Wednesday is the one night a week I have to work late. I enjoy getting up later and having time to get ready for work, but when work is over I dont want to do anything but go right to sleep. I'm usually starving cause I decide not to take a lunch so I can leave earlier. True, I usually dont have to stay for my whole shift, but still. It's crappy.

So yeah, I hate Wednesdays.

Oh, and on a very sad note: Jack will soon have a new home we think. A woman I work with was talking about how her and her husband wish they had a dog, and she looked at me and said, I would really love to have one just like yours Lilly, what kind are they again? I told her Dachunds and she said yeah. They seem like the perfect size and stuff. So that stuck with me since I'm so upset that they are forced to be in the kennel all day while I'm at work and then still cant be out when I'm home because it's too much to watch them both. On top of that I cant do as much for them because every bill is doubled. I would get their nails clipped more, have them neat toys more often, have them out in the house more.. maybe even get them fixed since their health is proven to be better if they get fixed. Doggie cancer is less likely as they age, not to mention small dog intestinal problems. But I cant do it for both of them, so I havent been doing it for either of them. :( I wish I'd thought about this before I got two puppies and got so attached to both of them. I love Jack, but I think he will be better off with Mrs. Martha. She lives in the country and it's just her and her husband in their house, so Jack will get more love and attention from her. I'm still sad about it though. *sigh*

I decided to link to a few mp3s so you can listen to the songs you might not know from my list:

Charlie - Ingrid Michaelson

Mushaboom - Feist

Superman - Five for Fighting

Indie Rock and Roll - The Killers

Heroes of the Sidewalk - Two Hours Traffic

Added cause I like it and forgot it:
Phenomena - Yeah Yeah Yeahs
("Maps" is wonderful by the YYY's too. Em, if you havent heard it, you'll love it, I think.)
Fiona - flower

My Top 10 *cough* 20 *cough* Favorite songs.

My Top Ten List of Must Have Songs

*Start time: 11:20a.m.*

1. Everything I'd Do, I'd do for you - Bryan Adams

Number one on my list is a song I cant remember a time I didnt like it. Theme song to Robin Hood: Prince of Theives, my most watched/favorite movie, you cant go wrong with it. sure, it's a little corny, and it's a little overly dramatic, but what ballad isnt? Point made.

Lilly finally updates.

wow. My last post was 13 weeks ago. I didnt realize it had been so long ago. This is my first post this year.. just about. I knew I had stopped frequenting LJ and DJ, but I didnt realize it had been that long.

Anyway... an update on me: There isnt much to put up. I am SIM Coordinator at Walgreens now. Not sure I told people I quit working at Victoria Secret. And Stefan doesnt work at the movie theatre anymore. He didnt want to move again, so we decided that he would go to something that would pay the same or better, and have options for him to stay here. So now he works for Starbucks and is making slightly more. (Plus he brings home coffee all the time. O_o ) He's loving it, and I'm happy to hear that because I like it here. I dont like the job I do at Walgreens, but I like being with the people that I work with, so I'm hanging in there. I want to work the photo lab again, but I like having my nights and weekends off. So I am stuck doing the job I dont like if I want the hours I have and to stay with the people I work with. I'm always looking for something else. Wish I could get a job with Bally Fitness and have it pay the same as what I do now. But I dont think that's going to happen since they never called me about my resume the first time, and now they are open and everything and fully staffed, looks like.

I got a new tattoo. That's news. I got a Claddaugh under my wrist, and a string of clovers running from each side of the Claddaugh making a bracelet around my wrist, left wrist. The heart and crown face me. The way it faces is significant because of the meaning behind the beginning of the symbol in Irish History. I guess you'd call it history..? Anyway. I like it. I wish I loved it, but it didnt turn out 100% the way I'd hoped, so I kind of wish the clovers part wasnt on it. But if I didnt have that part, I'd probably just wish I'd finished it off... so eh. I'm happy with it. :P Maybe I'll get around to posting pictures of it sometime, since no one outside a 100 mile radius has seen it.

Other then that, uneventful. Started playing WoW to try to destress. Works sometimes, doesnt others. but you know.. whatever works sometimes..

Well, looks like I dont check my Deadjournal or my Livejournal near enough anymore, so I will start posting on Myspace most often. I'll post here when I remember or have time to cut and paste my entries for those that dont use myspace. (love you jess and eric! :p )

I want to start showing you guys photos more often, and I got to thinking.. Dad Hopkins only checks myspace that I know of, so I will post there and he can see them too. :) *

So.. my photo for today: I'm not sure if you've all seen this one before, but this is Jess T. Meade's Dad. He looked great sitting in the corner of the window on the day of Erin's wedding, so I asked him if I could take his photo. I love how it turned out. He's a super sweet man, and has one of the greatest smiles of anyone I've ever met. Here he is -

Return to the old?

So, heres a question for you guys...

I am tired of being all over the internet. I'm ready to pick a site or two to run with and use to the fullness of their potential, so here's my question...

Should I used Flickr and photobucket in association with livejournal to make my journal entries, or should I go back to using deadjournal like I used to? Or should I just run with Myspace completely, and forget about owning my own .com... or should I get a .com and connect my deadjournal to it with a paid account. What do you guys think would be the easiest. I'm not going to leave Myspace. I like it over there, but I dont think I'm going to use Facebook anymore then I do already, which is hardly at all. I guess what I'm asking is.. should I blog on myspace or deadjournal or livejournal?

Sleazeville

It's so cramped here. The house is small and the town is small. I havent liked it here for a while... My allergies seem worse here, I have nothing to do here. *sigh* I've gained weight here. I want to go. Somewhere, anywhere. I dont want to be here anymore. This place seems to have sucked the creative life out of me. I couldnt paint, the room is too small, I couldnt work on jewelry, no where to shop for supplies accept online, and I hate doing that because I cant see them to know how big they are and if I really do like the way the beads or whatever look. Not to mention I dont really have a place to put that stuff together either. :/

Just a quick rant. I'm done.

Learned something new!

I saw things on etsy I wanted to buy, then I thought, "I can do that." And so starts the new side to an old obsession. I'm adding chainmail jewelry to the kinds of jewelry I like to make.. I didnt have enough rings cut to finish this, and it's just for practice because my cutters make the copper show... and that makes the rings ugly. Anyone willing to get this stuff cut the right way for me, let me know.. otherwise, I'll keep practicing with this wire. Thanks! Anyone who wants to order rings for me from The Ring Lord, I wont stop you either! :D I'd love to have the Anodized Aluminum Jewelry Kit -18g 3/16 or even the Basic Beginner's Kit - Galvanized Steel from this page. I'll be sure to make you something with it! heh... enough of the plugging for stuff... here's what I learned!

It's a Byzantine chain or Birdcage. It's actually a lot easier then I thought it would be.. heh. lookie!Collapse )

I hope Rheta doesn't mind...

I was talking to Jess the other day. I was discouraged because I havent sold anything from my store. She told me things I already know... that because I havent sold anything, people feel like they are taking a really big chance buying something from me and being the first one I deal with. Thing is, I've sold and shipped before, but they dont know that.. and they dont know it's the truth either.. anyway, she suggested that I make journal posts like Rheta does to get a little more exposure to my shop. I thought it was a great idea, I'd actually thought about it before, but didnt want to feel like I was copying Rheta that much.. but maybe Rheta wont mind.. I dont have any of the same friends she has, so it's not like I'd be taking customers. :) If she minds, I wont do this again, but here's the prints I have available for purchase in my store and I will do a framing job at your request with a given price range you are willing to spend. :)
